At one time or another, generally during our adolescence, many of us feel uncomfortable with our nose. We feel it is too big, or has a bump, or we are simply dissatisfied with the shape. Often times our faces “catch up” with our noses in the way of growth and our features even out. But if this does not occur, rhinoplasty, more commonly known as a “nose job” may be an option one might consider.
There are various ways rhinoplasty is performed, there is the latest trend of “fillers,” which can even out a bump, or the more traditional surgical route wherein the patient is given general anesthesia and a surgeon works to reshape the nose. A growing trend is vacation rhinoplasty, this is an excellent option for the patient to go abroad and spend some time recovering, and then return home with a subtle change about them: A newly shaped nose that will have friends and family commenting on how well you look after your vacation.
