The plastic surgeon Gkotsikas John was born and raised in Thessaloniki. He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He trained in General Surgery at the University Hospital "Sahlgrenska" in Gothenburg, Sweden. He specializes in Plastic Surgery in Plastic Surgery at the University of Thessaloniki and the Department of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital "Karolinska" in Stockholm. He received the title of specialist Plastic Surgeon after successful tests of the Greek Committee of Plastic Surgery.
He attended a series of educational seminars aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and participated as a speaker at international conferences and Greek Plastic Surgery. As part of his doctoral thesis at the Medical School of the Aristotle University studies the role of topical negative pressure in taking skin grafts.
He is a regular member of the Greek Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
In his office in the center of Thessaloniki engaged in troubleshooting aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
